The NB-iot and CAT. 1 series are the most important to boost smart grid construction
With the acceleration of 2G/3G withdrawal, the whole IoT industry is gradually evolving towards NB-iot, 4G (CAT.1) and 5G. The "60%-30%-10%" cellular iot structure, that is, low-rate business accounts for 60%, medium-rate business accounts for 30%, and high-rate business accounts for 10%, has become a consensus in the industry. In addition to the NB-iot product line, LTE CAT.1 and CAT.4 series modules have also been widely used in intelligent meter reading, environmental monitoring, security systems, asset tracking and other scenarios. Among them, A7680C is the ultra-small LTE CAT. 1 module launched by SmCOM this year for the Chinese market, supporting LTE-TDD/LTE-FDD wireless communication system. It adopts the LCC+LGA package size of the classical 2G products of SimCom, realizing the smooth switch from the classic 2G products (SIM800C, SIM868, etc.) to LTE products, which greatly facilitates the design requirements of customers for compact and fully functional end products.
